About Us
The Association for the Protection of the Environment “APE” is an Egyptian nongovernmental organization founded in 1984. It is working in the waste collector’s community to promote recycling and the empowerment of women and children to be integrated in Egyptian society acknowledging their important contribution to waste reduction in the city of Cairo. Health and education are integral services that have made a real and tangible change towards poverty alleviation and much greener environment.
جمعية حماية البيئة من التلوث هي منظمة مصرية غير حكومية أشهرت عام 1984 ، تعمل على تعزيز برامج إعادة تدوير المخلفات من خلال تمكين النساء والأطفال بمجتمع "جامعي القمامة "والاندماج في المجتمع والاعتراف بمساهمتهم في الحد من النفايات في مدينة القاهرة .
الجمعية تقدم برامج الصحة والتعليم بشكل متكامل لتنمية مجتمعات جامعي القمامة وتحقيق تحسن حقيقي وملموس نحو التخفيف من حدة الفقر بالإضافة الي الوصول الي بيئة أكثر اخضراراً,
